Biography

Jeanne is a Lille-based singer-songwriter and performer.

She began writing and composing her own songs while studying an English degree, accompanying herself on the guitar and the piano. Her music is deeply shaped by her experiences abroad: life in Ireland and the Connemara mountains, a musical sailing journey along the Norwegian coast, and a trip across Europe to the North Cape. The landscapes and her encounters continue to nourish her imagination.

During one of these journeys, Jeanne joined a sailing crew of four musicians with whom she co-wrote, created, and produced the album "Floholme" throughout the voyage. She grew along the way, guitar on her back, playing wherever the wind carried her.

Jeanne has further shaped her artistic and stage practice through residencies at L’Aéronef in Lille (Aeroteenage Tour 2020, Aerocampus Tour 2023, Eurocampus Tour 2025), leading her to perform on other stages such as "Warm Me Up" and the "Co-lab" of the Sustain Festival 2025 at Les Arcades in Faches-Thumesnil.

Following the university competition "Pulsation", she created "Treehouse", an illustrated-concert in collaboration with the illustrator Madeleine Angst. Blending music and live visual creation, the project explores the idea of refuges—those we carry with us, wherever we go.

Today, Jeanne is driven by a desire to create a sincere connection with her audience. She shares folk songs with a soft and clear voice, filled with meaning and tenderness. Her musical world is an invitation to feel alive.
